Army Training Support Brigade Complex, Ft Benning, GA
The new Ft. Benning Army Training Support Brigade Complex in Fort Benning, Georgia was built to provide a state of the art facility for troops. The original project duration was one year, but during construction received an unprecedented twelve feet of rainfall. The rainfall caused a six month delay, during which another two feet of rain fell. Despite the adverse conditions, Comfort Systems USA Southeast worked with the Construction Manager to achieve critical milestones.
The Comfort Systems USA Southeast team:
• Installed a Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and controls system designed for energy efficiency. This system used a minimum amount of energy to condition fresh air.
• Considered the many space uses and made sure the design, balance, and commissioning of these systems suited the different occupants needs.
• Produced quality work and a level of team work so important to the Construction Manager facing scheduling challenges.
